SHAUNCEY ALI QUARTET

The Shauncey Ali Quartet weaves the fabric of Celtic and Americana traditions into a contemporary tapestry of original compositions. Shauncey integrates the vernacular of a traditional fiddler, versatility of a classical violist and chops of an experienced improviser, with Hans Holzen (guitar), Nicholas Vanhaute (mandolin) and David Havas (upright bass) delivering a chamber-style interplay firmly rooted in tradition yet unbound by convention.
